Till last year he was the Wellington City Council’s respected chief advisor on urban planning. Now he is opposing the council at a resource consent hearing for a huge new Lambton Quay building which would be four storeys higher than the legal height limit.
Gerald Blunt – who left the city council last year after more than a decade of distinguished service – has this week been appearing as a consultant for a property company which is objecting to the size of the new building.
