R3 Men Vs NaeNae 22/07/07 Lost 7 - 3
- Upper Hutt Hockey Club
- The R3 men lost 7-3 to Naenae on the weekend. All 3 goals were scored by Karl Thiart. It was a close game, with Upper Hutt scoring first. Some great positional play by Naenae saw three goals swept in off the left post.

Sunday Working Bee

- A working bee last Sunday saw the first 90mtrs of Lazy Fern widened to its proper finished width of 1.2mtrs, this meant we could lay gravel down for the contractor to come in and start building the bridges and retaining wall needed to get around that nasty gully at the bottom of the track.

- I wasn't lucky enough to have done the run, it sounded like it was a good work out for the guys that did it. As always on there return the beer started flowing, I have to say it was pretty cold so a lot of us retired to Arold's lounge and cranked up his gas heater.

Karori Slapperz 2 - Uni Legends 2
- Karori Slapperz AFC
- Legends, known for their pointless pretty boy passing from defence to midfield without actually getting a ball in the box are like a rubbish version of The Arsenal, but managed to give the Slapperz a right run around all day especially in the middle. Despite this, the Slapperz took an early lead when Geeza put though a ball for Story to bang in his 11th of the season 1-0.

Friday 13th Zombie Party at Johnsonville

P2 Men Vs Harbour City 07/07/07 Drew 1 - 1
- Upper Hutt Hockey Club
- The upper hutt P2 mens team got thier first competion point on the weekend with a Draw against Harbour city Tawa. Probably due to several late changes to the draw no referees were present and Both teams provided a referee each. This was a very unfair situation for these people to have been put into and for thier efforts we owe them alot of thanks. It was not a particularly nice game for them to have had to umpire with moments of conflict, A certain player was a bit confrontational and will be starting the fine system off by putting $20 in the swear jar.

Women's Firsts v Tawa (top-o-the-table-clash)

What would be even greater would be if we were to beat them on Sunday and rob them of possibly the only thing they have to proud of – top spot in the division that contains our team.
