- Glorious weather, calm, blue skies, a touch muddy in parts of the off-road section through Whitireia Park. Thanks to our official for making this work: timekeepers/starters: John Turner, Peter Maunder, Don Dalgliesh, and Bill Twiss; handicappers, Bob Stephens, Don Dalgliesh, Scott Vujcich, David Lonsdale; Marshals: Alan Stevens, Ross Lake, Adrian Shields and Barkis. Kitchen: Helen Stevens and others. Some 121 people raced in one capacity or another. Eighteen were our guests from Kapiti Harriers.

WCC advises all directly affected residences should have a received a letter and picture of park location.
