General Meeting - April - Note Change of Venue
- Wellington VHF Group
- The April meeting of the Wellington VHF Group will be held at the Band Rotunda, Oriental Parade, Wellington, starting at 7:30pm. The Band Rotunda room is under the Fishermans Table restaurant, and the access id from the footpath to the right of the restaurant entrance, down the steps. (The change in venue is due to the usual meeting place at Tawa being used by the Council for a Disaster Recovery test programme). The meeting will cover the NZART Remits, and be followed by a “show-and-tell” session, and photos of the work that is going on up at Belmont.

- Princess Kate and the Dragon. This was a most successful production! Special congratulations to Lisa who had the inspiration and led the music and to Mary who interpreted the script. Congratulations to everyone else involved too. Approximately eighteen hundred people came to see Princess Kate and we were thrilled to receive an email from someone new to the area saying how much he and his family had enjoyed the show.

From Mike’s Desk …
- Karori Baptist Church
- This Sunday morning, we will have our A.G.M. service. In a sense, there are two aspects to this event. There are some “items of business” that we need to carry out - appointing Elders, adopting the Annual Report for the 2007 year, and so on. But we want to do these things not simply as “business matters”, but as part of our corporate worship, because they are very significant aspects of our life together as a faith community.
