      • Start: 04/15/2009 - 12:00 End: 04/19/2009 - 21:30 The 2009 Brass Band Championships of NZ are to be held in Napier from 15-19 April. The web page link for the organising committee's arrangements is http://www.championbrass.org.nz. Pelorus Trust Wellington Brass Band will be competing in the A-grade for the first time in a long time. The A-grade test piece is Philip Wilby's "Paganini Variations".

      • Wests is lookling for equipment to make up a gym/weights room at the Clubrooms. Any gear that people would like to donate/lend to the club would be greatly appreciated. Equipment such as benches, squat racks, hand weights, weight machines, treadmills, cycles and cross-trainers are all needed.       • Hi Everyone   Well – what a great turnout last Sunday. There must have been well over 120 Clinic members and visitors packed into the meeting room. They say that every four people are the equivalent of one 1000 watt heater and this became apparent and we sweated and oozed the time until our runs/walk.
