- The WMC Time Trial for 30 May 2010 is now open for registration.10K, 15K, half marathon and 3/4 mathon trials will be staged around the Miramar Peninsula starting and finishing at the Evans Bay Zephyrometer.

Work on Ngaio Gorge retaining wall begins again
- Ngaio Progressive Association
- Wellington City Council is strengthening a retaining wall along Ngaio Gorge Road. They want to make sure the wall opposite 45-49 Ngaio Gorge Road stays up during earthquakes or big storms. Work on the wall begins on 30 April 2010 and should finish by October.
