- Wellington City Council elections are coming up soon. Ngaio Progressive Association is holding another of our popular ‘Meet the Candidates’ meetings to help you decide who to vote for. We are inviting Mayoral and Onslow/Western ward candidates to speak and answer questions. The meeting will be in the Ngaio School hall at 7:45 pm on Thursday, 9 September.

Taekwon-Do world champs receives boost
- International Taekwon-Do Foundation of New Zealand - Wellington Region
- Economic Development Minister Gerry Brownlee announced today that the government will contribute $100,000 towards the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships in March 2011, following news that New Zealand will host the event in Wellington in March next year.
