- SMOG had some good results on Saturday, especially in the Senior grades. It was great to see a strong start to the new round. SMOG 1 and 2 played each other this week and the result was 64/35 to SMOG 1.

- SMOG 1 and 2 will be playing eachother on court one this week at 2.10pm. Please come along and watch the game, it promises to be a close game and will give you the chance to see the top talent that we have in the club.

New developments re: the Cobham Park Indoor Courts
- St Mary's Old Girls Netball Club (SMOG)
- Netball Wellington have advised that although everything was moving ahead towards the resource consent process for the development of the new indoor courts at Cobham Park, this is now being reviewed as part of the Council’s Annual Plan process. Andy Foster from the council has questioned the need for 12 courts. He is pushing to revisit the ’sites analysis’ with the idea of 8 courts at the Port (if the land can be obtained) and possibly covering some courts at Hataitai (amongst other possibilities).

- Overall, SMOG had a good weekend, coming away with some important wins. It seemed to be a weekend with a few SMOG teams playing their equal numbers from Wellington East, with mixed results.
