    Auditions - Alice, The Musical

    • Alice is a 90-minute-long family musical by James Leisy with arrangements by Jack Lambert. It brings to the stage most of your favourite Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass characters: Alice herself (of course), the White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat; the Caterpillar; Tweedledum and Tweedledee; the Duchess and the Cook; the Mad Hatter, March Hare and Dormouse; the Mock Turtle and Griffin; The Queen, the King, and the Playing Card Guards.

    • It is less than a month to the 50th Golden Jubilee – the KAT event of the year. It’s going to be a great afternoon. There’ll be a costume parade incorporating entertainment organised by Jillian Carpenter, you’ll hear from past Presidents and as promised there’ll be the Hobbit ‘reunion’ in an unexpected way – all will be revealed on the day.

    • Jo Bean is directing the second major production for the year with The Miracle Worker. The play tells the true story of Annie Sullivan and deaf, blind and unable to speak Helen Keller. Two houses have already been presold for Friday 18 July and Thursday 24 July. You will need to book early.

    • Princess Kate and the Dragon. This was a most successful production! Special congratulations to Lisa who had the inspiration and led the music and to Mary who interpreted the script. Congratulations to everyone else involved too. Approximately eighteen hundred people came to see Princess Kate and we were thrilled to receive an email from someone new to the area saying how much he and his family had enjoyed the show.
