I presume there is a swimming event on at the main pool, in which case the usual carpark will be full. Best to enter the back carpark from the Evans Bay Parade entrance.

Marererua St steps open again

- Makererua - Heke St steps July 2010 The steps between Makererua and Hekes Streets are now open again. They have a new hand rail, a very smart gutter, and a new pathway. The Pukatea Track starts at the bottom of the steps and takes you through the reserve to Orleans Street in about 10 minutes.
