      • As a Junior Club we aim to provide a positive and nurturing cricketing environment for all our Primary School players from Nursery grade right though to Premier level. To that end we actively seek to provide an unrivalled level of service and support for players and parents to ensure that their experience of cricket and Collegians is a rewarding one. Player numbers were on a par with previous years, and with 34 teams and around 350 players across the age groups Collegians retained its status as one of the largest junior cricket clubs in Wellington.

      • Hi EveryoneOK – so I lied last week. The weather turned out quite good for getting out and about. One of my group said it was ‘perfect running weather’ which was perhaps pushing it a bit, but it was not too bad. Then came the rest of the week and we are not looking too flash for the weekend. BUT – to repeat what I said last week

      • Hi Everyone,  It’s all a cunning plan For the last three Sundays the weather has been deadful. Serious southerlies, hammering hail, swirling snow, and ruthless rain. And it would appear that we are to have the same weather this coming Sunday. BUT – it has all been carefully orchestrated by the HarbourCapital Committee. If we get all this ghastly weather out of the way now, there will be none left

While we are looking for more volunteers, we will not be press ganging anyone onto the committee if they do not want to join. We will have some of our Council officials there to get their opinions on where they see Wellington is at and is heading, and we should have time to have an overview on a number of the topical issues in front of us at present.

      • Well!  What looked like was going to be a possible disastrous bus run turned out GREAT!  The only real rain we got was getting off the but at the top of the Wainui hill.  Once we were into the bush we were out of the wind, and although the track was wet there were less puddles and mud than I was expecting.  We had a few light snow flurries along the ridge, which was magic, the odd hail which was n
