Coastguard Mana / February 2023
Coastguard Mana is an affiliated member of Coastguard New Zealand and is a Unit of Coastguard Central Region. We are based at the Mana Cruising Club / Mana Marina on the west coast of the North Island, just up the road from Wellington. Our area of responsibility covers the Mana inshore recreational area and the northern end of Cook Strait across to the top of the Marlborough Sounds.

- Operation Details Date/Time: Sat, 11/02/2023 - 12:00 - 15:00 Operation Type: CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted: 3 Total Volunteer Hours: 9 Runabout with 3 people on board broken down on the SW side of Mana Island. Motor wouldn't start and then flattened battery. Jumpstart wouldn't start it either, so towed home to Titahi Bay. Non-member, so expensive day out!
