Coastguard Mana / June 2014
Coastguard Mana is an affiliated member of Coastguard New Zealand and is a Unit of Coastguard Central Region. We are based at the Mana Cruising Club / Mana Marina on the west coast of the North Island, just up the road from Wellington. Our area of responsibility covers the Mana inshore recreational area and the northern end of Cook Strait across to the top of the Marlborough Sounds.

- Operation Details Date/Time: Sat, 21/06/2014 - 00:45 - 12:00 Operation Type: Other People Assisted: 0 Total Volunteer Hours: 22 Harbour ranger requested support from CGM and the use of Pelorus to locate and recover an object that was a hazard to other boats within the swing mooring area south of the rail bridge. A stainless steel jetty step was located and recovered back to the Mana Cruising Club slipway Resources Attendees: Trevor Burgess Trevor Farmer CRV's Used: CRV Pelorus
