Prem 2 – OBU v HOBM 10-07-2021
- Old Boys - University Rugby Club
- This is from a new eye in the field who shall remain anonymous for now. A great read I’m sure you’ll agree!! This was submitted a few days after the match but has taken a while to get published. Apologies for that. In the first of two OBU vs HOBM games this weekend the Prem 2’s travelled out to Hutt Rec in search of a win & bonus point to secure a top 4 finish in the pursuit of Ed Chaney. Severely depleted in the front row particularly meant season debuts for Jason Gore from the Righteous Pack & John from the Teddy Bears. Also pulling on the boots in nearly 3 years was Physio Mark Thorne-Alexander.

To stand or not to stand, that is the question

This should be more popular: Chef's Cafe
- The Wellingtonista
- At the top of Cuba Street, opposite Fidel's and next to a sex shop is what appears to be a crappy little tea room named Chef's Cafe. You might think that they're going to try and sell you a pie and a custard square, but you couldn't be more wrong. See that little sandwich board outside that says "Takeaway Curry $10"? That's right, this is an Indian restaurant. And it's good. And it's insanely cheap*.

Major new sculpture for Wellington
- Wellington Sculpture Trust
- The Wellington Sculpture Trust is excited to announce the commissioning of a major new artwork by the Wellington-based artist Regan Gentry. The piece, named Subject to Change, has been specifically designed for its location in the Te Aro area, making reference to the changes in the urban landscape of that part of Wellington. It comprises a replica of two walls of a heritage-style building, yet is clearly a large scale work of art.

Island Bay Presbyterian Church
- We are a diverse church, diverse in age, theologies and worship styles. Despite this we have a common vision, a common commitment to support one another, and a common desire to follow in the way of Jesus. Our life together mainly revolves around our 10am Sunday worship service.
