The International is a full-time thriller about an international banking conspiracy and it's directed by Run Lola Run's Tom Tykwer. Naomi Watts plays second-fiddle. What happened to her career? Rusticity

- Following the success of the recent Wellington Flickr Group's exhibition at the Paramount, cames yet more photographic goodness from a Wellington flickr-ite legend A Different Perspective (aka Jim Henderson). He's putting on an exhibition of his work down at Island Bay's The Bach cafe, from the 1st to the 30th of April. Island Bay Festival

- As mentioned earlier in the week, the Island Bay Festival kicks into gear this weekend. Tomorrow (Sat 11 Feb) we get some of the best stuff: a Street Parade (all welcome - kids in costumes are recommended), Bands in the Park, and a new event which shapes to be a particular favourite of ours: Pimp my Bike.

F69 scheduled to go down this weekend
- The Wellingtonista
- Yes indeed, unless the wind gets up too much, this Saturday (12 Nov) at 3pm, the ex-Frigate F69-Wellington is going to be scuttled off the south coast, between Island and Houghton Bays (just to the East of Tapu Teranga - the island of Island Bay).
