In Division 3, Newlands Senior A had a convincing 89 – 42 win v HVHS 2 and will take on Naenae in the final. Wellington City Rural Fire Force
- The Wellington Regional Council formed the WCRFF in 1993. Originally the Force shared residence with the Wellington Free Ambulance at Newtown. The Force moved to its’ own station in Burma Road Johnsonville, in December 1999 and stayed there for 3 ½ years. As the crew numbers increased and the purchase of the tanker the Wellington City Council moved our location to Tawa Depot on the 12th July 2003. Our current station gives us the opportunity to increase our crew numbers to our desired benchmark of 30 as well as housing our entire fleet, which currently consists of 6 vehicles, 4 trailers and a Communication Caravan.

The club provides a range of organised riding options including Sunday rides and Jungle rides, but probably the most popular is the Wednesday night rides. - Plush installation exhibition at Thistle hall by Antoinette Ratcliffe 16 November 2010 – 20 November 2010 Open 11 – 5.30pm Monday to Friday 11-4pm Saturday At last, someone was able to help the slashed up and dying bear, Morris. The bunnies Sugar and Sadie had been unsuccessful with their first aid kit in previous installations, but Duke the zombie Dachshound has transformed Morris into a zombie bear. They keep each other company, but Morris is still having trouble training Duke to be abit more civilized.
