Hutt Valley Mountain Bike Club
Established in 1991, the club covers the greater Wellington area, with a preference for cross country riding. The club provides a range of organised riding options including Sunday rides and Jungle rides, but probably the most popular is the Wednesday night rides. These can have anywhere from 5 to 20 or more depending on the ride.

Randal and Kennett Attack Again
- Hutt Valley Mountain Bike Club
- As last year, John Randal and Simon Kennett won the 8hr Akatarawa Attack today. They spanned the 100sq.km map of rugged country which is riddled with logging tracks both old and new. Brother Jonathan with Andrew McLellan won the 4hr section.
