        • The Boys 2nd XI football team sprung a surprise in the Division 4 semi final beating previously unbeaten Wellington College 5, 6-3. They now come up against Hutt International 4 in this weekends final. Congrats to the team and management.

      • Basketball teams make finals

        • Congrats to our Newlands Senior A & B Boys teams who have both made the finals night at the ASB on Friday. In Division 3, Newlands Senior A had a convincing 89 – 42 win v HVHS 2 and will take on Naenae in the final. In Division 5, Newlands Senior B had a close 68 – 61 win v Raphael House and will take on St Pats Town 3 in the final.

      • Girls Junior and Senior Basketball teams make Premier Grade

        • Congratulations to our Girls Junior A and Senior A teams who have made the Premier Division following grading. Due to a clash of commitments on a Tuesday there are a number of Junior girls playing in the Senior B Girls team so it shows there is a good depth in our Girls Basketball programme.

      • Yoga starts next Tuesday

        • Yoga with Tanya is back for Term 3. If you are keen to give it a try come, get changed at start of lunch on Tuesday and come to the fitness room. There are limited mats so please bring one if you have one. The cost is $50 for the term. For further information contact Mr Witts.

      • New Basketball Hoops are up

        • Over the holidays Irwin Sports were in to upgrade the schools Basketball Goals. A big thanks to Pelorus Trust for their additional funding to get this project over the line. We look forward to the hoops being christened in the first Junior Basketball game taking place next Tuesday.

      • Milly Mackey wins Women’s Rugby player of year at CSW Awards

        • Congratulations to Milly Mackey and her family as she was named women’s rugby player of the year at the College Sport Awards last Sunday. Congratulations also to Melvin Rumere who was a finalist in Futsal and Jonny Cottle who was a finalist in Table Tennis.
