Akatarawa Attack
- Wellington Orienteering Association
- 80 mountainbikers attacked the Akatarawas on Saturday, armed only with a map. And 78 emerged more or less unscathed, close to the 4 or 8 hours each team had chosen for their battle with the rugged bush area between Upper Hutt and Kapiti. The final team of 2 pulled into the base at the end of Bulls Run Road three and a half hours late - battered but unbowed.

BNU Masters 3 v Uni Bombers, 22 May 2010 at Raroa
- Brooklyn Northern United AFC
- If Team A beats Team B 7-2 one week, then Team A get thrashed 8-0 by Team C the next week, how is Team B going to approach the following week's match against Team C? Hoping for rain didn't quite work; it rained just enough for the game to be transferred from the cosy familiarity of Team B's Happy Valley home to the bleak wastelands of Raroa.
