    • Capital Punishment 4
      • On Saturday the 8th of May Victoria University kickboxing club hosted Capital Punishment 4 in the Victoria University Students Association building in Kelburn, Wellington. The event has become one of the highlights of the lower North Island kickboxing calendar. The 2004 event promised to be bigger and better than previous tournaments, involving 16 fights, four of which were title bouts.

      • Zephyr Rovers demolished the Astronomically Talented team today at the Shed of Dreams. "We gave away a silly goal early on and I was wondering if the guys were tuned in" said Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall "but we went on with it from there and it was clear there was only one talented team on the pitch and it wasn't them".

    • 9B Cricket Team Wins Final
      • Saturday 10 December 2011: A fine season was topped off when the Stream 9B Cricket Team played Wellington College 4, at Wellington College, in the Finals of the Junior 3 Grade. In a close fought match, Silverstream batted first to post a commendable 111/9. Wellington College chased hard but were eventually 110 all out, giving Stream a one run victory.

      • Umpire Evan Watkin says seeing the world’s greatest players up close and personal is just one of many rewards of becoming an umpire. In July Watkin was made a Life Member of the Cricket Wellington Umpires and Scorers Association (CWUSI) and Cricket Wellington recently caught up with him to ask about of his umpiring career highlights and how aspiring umpires can get involved.
