    • Metlink to slash off-peak fares, make weekends and public holidays free for children
      • Off-peak fares on Metlink public transport services will be reduced and children will ride for free on weekends and public holidays, as part of a package of concessions agreed today by Greater Wellington. Fares are currently discounted by 25 percent to encourage off peak travel, but the regional council today agreed to increase the discount to 50 percent, which will also apply to concession holders. Greater Wellington Transport Committee Chair Roger Blakeley said he was pleased the council had adopted the recommendations of the Future Fares Subcommittee.

TPR towed the dredge to each marker, held in place until the dredge secured itself in place then waited for the marker to be replacved and move onto the next one. Designed by architect John Scott for the Society of Mary in 1959, the Futuna Retreat Chapel in Karori was opened on 19 March 1961. Futuna Chapel may be New Zealand’s most important building of the 20th century, the first to express in architectural terms New Zealand’s contemporary national identity. The building was awarded a Gold Medal by the New Zealand Institute of Architects and, later, was the recipient of the Institute’s inaugural 25 Year Award.

After moving a couple of times the last time appears to have drained the battery while lifting the anchor and they couldn't get the enging started.       • Operation Details Date/Time:  Mon, 04/07/2022 - 19:00 - 21:30 Operation Type:  SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted:  8 Total Volunteer Hours:  5 Susea had left Mana Marina for an afternoons fishing (new engine and stern leg fitted) As they were returning the engine overheated and smoked, at position 41° 5.617'S, 174° 49.372'E, Susea put out a PANPAN and a sea anchor but drifted close into a rocky shore.
