DCM Bulletin - Bookfair Bargains!
- Downtown Community Ministry
- This weekend is Wellington’s biggest annual Bookfair, with over 80,000 books, cds, dvds, videos, vinyl records and magazines on sale. All start at the low bargain price of just $2! “This year we have a massive range of fiction books, more than we have ever had. There is also a lot of recent release fiction as well, and everything is at really competitive prices,” says Jennifer Stewart, DCM’s communications and events coordinator.

More Matangi in service
- Tranz Metro
- Twenty new Matangi trains are now in service on the Hutt Valley and Kapiti lines. These trains are operating thirty-one return trips every weekday. In addition to a number of off-peak services, the Hutt line has Matangi operating on seven return services during the morning peak and five return services during the evening peak. The Kapiti line has seven evening peak services and five morning peak services delivered by Matangi.
