- Wellington’s Eastern Subrubs lead the standings, on net run rate, heading into Saturday’s fifth and final set of round-robin matches at the NZCT National Club Championships. Ben Orton and Jeremy Dean both hit centuries and Ronald Karaitiana took 5 wickets as they beat local club Parnell by 124 runs on Friday.

Loop track construction update
- Rimutaka Incline Railway
- More progress with our loop track at Maymorn, following on from the previous Loop track build starts story from July and August. Rails have been crowed to form the curve off the double slip, cut and drilled. Good to finish that part of the loop and get on to the straight lengths.
