    • Transport - the route ahead
      • In what seems like a record fast time for Public Consultation, Greater Wellington Regional Council and Transit have turned out results from the public consultation round. As Transit’s “Phase 2 Consultation Report” notes, there was a total of 4673 submissions, including 3750 Option 3 “Green Alliance” postcards and 482 Chamber of Commerce postcards received, and a mere 71 actual written submissions from various bodies and organisations.

    • Wellington Players back from the Masters Games
      • An enthusiastic group of Wellington squashies had to cope with temperatures over 30 degrees in Wanganui last weekend. With all players having 3 matches (just one match each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday) there was plenty of time to visit (and play) some other sports and in the evening enjoy the live bands at the Games Village. Below are the results for sixteen Wellington players entere

Edition no. 3 of Pathways is glossy and cheerful, and like most of the recent publications from recently re-organised public service departments, entirely full of bumpf and platitudes with nothing much useful to say at all. BNU were missing several key senior squad members through injury, plus influential, but crook, midfielder Karl Roberts. • Hi Everyone Mystery Run   This Sunday we assemble as usual in Meeting Room 3 and Jillian hands out a fiendishly difficult set of instructions that sends packs hightailing it all over Wellington to answer questions of global significance, like ‘what sort of stuffed toy is there in the window of a certain house in Constable Street’, and ‘how many steps are there up Plimmer’s Way’?

    • BNU 1sts v Kapiti Coast United - 15th June 2013
      • Another week and another must win game as we travelled to Kapiti for what we knew would be a tough encounter. The boys had looked tired in training during the week and with Kapiti having lost their last 3 games, we knew they would be desperate to find some form. The warm up did nothing to ease my concerns, as we looked a bit off the pace.

Councillors voted 11-3 to limit private vehicle access on Cuba Street between Ghuznee Street and Vivian Street, and on Dixon Street between Taranaki Street and Victoria Street.

      • Hi fishes. Well the LGWM thing was announced supporting the big, most expensive package. As you know I got my issues, discussed in 3-Big-Flaws here. Thought I’d come back and address a few bonus thoughts. First up: The Gauntlet Tunnel. To recap. The selected package aims for trams to Island Bay, frustratingly bypassing Newtown, and a busway to Kilbirnie and Miramar frustratingly attached to a new highway tunnel.
