2024 Interfaith Choir Service

- The Waikato Interfaith Council’s (WIFCO) final executive committee meeting for 2024 was graciously hosted by member Todd Miller, representing The Church of the Latter Day Saints at Templeview. It was a privilege to hear the Latter Day Saints Choir and attend the opening ceremony of the Templeview Christmas lights.

Remembering Robin Patchett

- With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Robin Patchett, affectionately known as Robbie. Robbie was a cherished figure in the multicultural community and a stalwart for the Waikato Multicultural Council. Waikato Multicultural Council president Ravinder Powar, along with other committee members, attended the memorial service, honoring Robbie’s lasting legacy.

214th Colombian Independence Celebration

- The Hamilton Colombian Community Trust celebrated and commemorated the 214th Colombian Independence Day as a reminder of their heritage and history, members took part in games and dances in colourful traditional costumes. The celebration concluded with Colombian cuisine.
