World Mountain Running Trophy Wellington 2005
- Approximately 350 athletes and officials from 30 countries are expected to converge on Wellington, New Zealand for the 21st annual World Mountain Running Trophy. It is only the second time that the World Trophy will be staged in the Southern Hemisphere.

The sinking of the 'Wellington'
- A flickr group project to document the last days of the RNZN frigate 'Wellington' (formerly HMS 'Bacchante'). The 'Wellington' has been retired and will complete her final voyage when she arrives in Wellington on Friday 13th. May. In November she will be sunk just off the Wellington south coast to serve as a diving reef.

Hutt Valley Canoe Club
- The Hutt Valley Canoe Club focuses on Whitewater paddling with an emphasis on our gems of local rivers in the region. Regular trips are held on the Hutt Gorge, Whakatiki, Akatarawa and Otaki rivers.
