    • Guardians of the Bays
      • Guardians of the Bays is a broad-based residents’ group opposed to the proposal to extend the runway at Wellington International Airport (WIAL). We do not believe that the extension will achieve the level of benefits needed to warrant the extensive investment required. We do believe that the social, cultural and environmental costs the extension would impose on Wellington residents and the South Coast and its users are too high.

    • Save Takapu Valley
      • NZTA wants to bulldoze a highway up Takapu Valley, parallel to State Highway One, to connect Transmission Gully to the Petone to Grenada link road. The history, ecology, and community of this rural corner of Tawa are each treasures worth fighting for. There’s a lot of spin and misinformation out there about this proposed road. Don’t be misled.

    • Te Motu Kairangi
      • It’s quite simple: we aim to restore ecological health to the Miramar Peninsula. More specifically, we’d like to see every household on the peninsula include 25 % or more of local native plants. We practises eco-sourcing to maintain the distinctiveness of local flora. By boosting rare plant life and controlling introduced mammalians we can bring nature in to our urban community, raising property values and fostering a sense of identity and well-being.
