    • Women's Preseason Tournament, March 29th & 30th
      • Entries are now being accepted for the 2014 version of our annual women's football pre-season tournament. To enable us to finalise the draw and preparations, your entries are required by the 14th of March, 2014 please (with payment due by the 21st of March).  The entry fee is a very reasonable $180 per team inclusive of GST. In 2014 we will run the tournament with competition offered at two levels. Division 1 is ideally for teams competing in this coming seasons Central & Premier leagues. Division 2 is ideally for teams competing in this winters CF divisions 1-3 or College 1st XI's. Competition over the two days will be 11-a-side on a full size field, though each match will be of a shortened time frame. The structure of the tournament will be pool play, with competition progressing to two Cup Finals on the Sunday afternoon. Each team will play a minimum of 5 games over the weekend.     • 2014 Senior Women's Football
      • Preseason training commences Wednesday, January 22nd (6:30pm - 8:00pm) at Hutt Park under the direction of Women's Director of Football, Elliott Taylor. A second session each week will be on Sunday mornings, (10:00am - 11:30am) the first of these is on January 26th. The region’s fastest growing women’s club & reigning Premier League champions would love to hear from you & talk about your playing options & ambitions for the 2014 season. We’re keen to strengthen our squad and are keen to hear from players of all levels of experience who would enjoy both the playing & social aspects of our club. We have teams to cater for all abilities & players of all ages; with at last count 4 teams spread across the Premier League & Divisions 1 & 2. If you ‘d like to join a club contributing to the growing profile of women’s football then please contact either Elliott on 021-369 669 or Brendan Marsh (Women’s Football Manager) on 021 0647 834, or email women@stopout.org.nz Players keen to be involved with our U17's programme & the team heading to March's National Tournament in Auckland are encouraged to come along to the preseason programme of Wednesday & Sunday's with Elliott.

    • 2014 men's pre-season
      • Welcome to all new and returning players to Stop Out for the 2014 season. Our Men's pre-season commences on Thursday 23rd January 6.30pm at Hutt Park, Seaview. Also 5 a side commences Tuesday 14th January 6.30pm at Hutt Park. All welcome!     • AGM, Sunday 24th November 2013
      • The Stop Out Sports Club 2013 AGM is on Sunday, November the 24th. All players and club members are welcome and encouraged to join us at the Hutt Park clubrooms at 5:00pm (the bar opens at 4:30pm). The meeting seeks a change in in the wording of our Rules ( see attached) and also a motion to amend our financial year end date. Reports will be tabled from the President, the Director of Football, the Director of Women's Football, the club's Juniors and the Treasurer. Election of club officials and the executive committee will also be undertaken.

    • Labour Weekend means u19 football !!
      • If the long weekend sees you out of town, perhaps to the Hawkes Bay or south to Christchurch you might want to keep an eye on the club's u19 boys and girls teams. The girls are in Christhcurch at the Lotto National u19 Club Championship hosted by Coastal Spirit FC. Elliot, Craig and Kathryn are leading our team south in their quest to outplay a mix of South Island clubs as well as fellow Wellington clubs, Upper Hutt & North Wgtn. All games are played at Cuthbert's Green and the draw can be found here; http://coastalspirit.co.nz/events/2013-lotto-u19-tournament/  Our boys head to Napier and Park Island is the venue for the Lotto National U19 Club Championship (hosted by Napier City Rovers FC). Steve and Alistair would welcome your support on the lines for the boys as they tackle a weekend of top quality football opposition.     • Women's Central League Play-Off
      • Our Women's team take on Wanganui Athletic over two legs for the right to a place in the 2014 Central League Sunday, March 15th the team is at Wembley Park (Wanganui) for a 1:00pm kick off. Supporters travel will depart Sunday morning & return in the evening - please contact Brendan if you'd like to join us; call 021 0647-834. Sunday, March 22nd we host Wanganui Athletic at Hutt Park, again the kick off is 1:00pm.

    • Men's Playoff Travel Details
      • Grab your seat! Travel with the team to Palmerston North for the Capital Premier playoff 1st leg. Bus leaves from the clubrooms at 10am on Saturday 14th September. Return by 7.30pm. Just $10. Call Brent for details: 027 500 5857

    • Men's Central League playoff details
      • Confirmation of the Men's Central League playoff sees us travel to Palmerston North where we take on Marist Palmerston North - who have already wrapped up the Federation League with two matches to play.  The 1st leg match will be held on Saturday 14th September at Memorial Park with a 2.45 kick off.   The return fixture on Saturday 21st September sees us  return to Hutt Park with a scheduled 2.00pm kick.  This will be one of the clubs biggest days in many years so pencil it in the calendar get friends, family and "noisy neighbours" along to support the mighty Red and Golds! Details of the days events will follow!

    • Winning Ways continue!
      • Fresh on the heels of our Women Premiers winning the league our Men's team demolished University 6 - 0 to claim the Premier League with a match to spare. Goals to Maluvik (2) Khouchaba, Packer, Gaughan and Yates completed the rout. And next door on Hutt Park 2 the Cap 7 team overran Tawa 7-1 to earn promotion to Cap 6 for 2014. The Werewolves will gain double promotion for 2013 and will play in Cap 12 next year. And not forgetting our Women's 3 team who gained promotion last weekend. A great time to be a Stop Out supporter!

    • 2013 Coaching Announcements / Pre-season
      • We are pleased to announce the re-appointment of Steven Gulley and Scott Easthope as 1st team co-coaches for the 2013 season. The Men's 2nd team will be coached by Scott McLeod with support from Jason Coombe. Scott is vastly experienced and joins Stop Out after a stint at Wainuomata where he coached their Premier League team in 2012. Our Women's Premier League team welcomes Elliot Taylor to the club. Elliot coached BNU's Women;s Central League team in 2012 as well as junior 97/98 FTC girls. Elliot will be assisted by Women's Director of Football Brendan Marsh. For Men player's pre-season dates will see 5 a side games planned for 6pm January 11th, 18th and 25th, with pre season to start on Tuesday January 29th (Hutt Park). For the Women's pre-season starts Wednesday 30th January 6.30pm - 8.00pm. And every Wednesday and Friday evening going forward (Hutt Park).     • Promotions!
      • Part of Capital Football's strategy is to allow some divisions within the Men's and Women's Competition structure to have mid-season promotion / relegation.The plan is for teams in those divisions to settle into the league that best suits thier standard of football. Well the Men's Werewolves side and the Women's 3rd team have both been promoted.

    • Photo night
      • Team Photo Night - 26th June Yes its that time of the year again when all Junior, Senior Men's and Women's teams have their team photos taken. Orders and payments are being received now by all coaches. Small Photo's $15, Large Photo's $20. So scrub up, get a haricut, and make Stop Out proud!  

    • Old Timers Day
      • Terry Killalea, Jimmy MCCreadie and Warwick Gendall at last weeks Old Timers Day. A good win by the 1st team, 3-1 over Petone and the 2nds 6-2 winners over Tawa made the day even more enjoyable!
