Wellington Cycling Framework: progress or procrastination?
- Cycling in Wellington
- On 21 April, a rally of over 350 people who cycle demanded that WCC “get on with it” and start building cycling infrastructure. On 30 April, Council will debate the Wellington Cycling Framework, the “master plan” for developing cycling in Wellington. Is this the start of the progress that the rally demanded, or is it another exercise in procrastination?

Result: Shaw Baton Relay
- Olympic Harriers
- Conditions were pretty good for the running of the 2015 Shaw Baton Relays being somewhat cloudy overhead with a bit of a northerly breeze. The course had to be altered somewhat due to trimming of pine trees not far from the start of the leg. This meant that times were faster than in previous years, which gives encouragement to those of us who are getting a bit older. There was good support for the event this year with 548 individual results in the relays (this will include some people running twice).
