Vessel was located by police launch Lady Liz IV half kilometer off Makara. Police stayed with the vessel until Trust Porirua Rescue arrived on scene to take the boat under tow. Boat was towed back to Mana Marina by coastguard. 2 greats play their last end
- Tawa Bowling Club
- Ivan Kostanich and Dave Baldwin have both recently passed away. Kostanich seemed ageless, winning national singles titles into his 70s. Baldwin had an illustrious career, with only Ian Dickison having won a more recent men's Commonwealth Games gold medal for New Zealand.
