Wellington Tennis Club
The Wellington Tennis Club has great facilities with four astroturf courts and night lights. We run fun and social club sessions for senior members on Sunday afternoons from 1:30pm, Wednesday mornings from 9:30 and Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm.

Good deal on racquet stringing

- Here’s a great stringing deal from our club coach and stringer Marcel. Until Friday 21st Feb: only $40 for a restring. (Most places charge around $60 these days.) Marcel says he has a good range of co-polyester strings and has been stringing for more than 10 years. Call him to discuss string and tension. Marcel is on 027 630 8627. Here are the dates for the 2020 post-Christmas competition: Round 1: 1 & 2 February Round 2: 15 & 16 February Rounds 3, 4, 5, 6, 7: every following weekend from round 2. Premier 1 Grand Finals: 21 March. No interclub is scheduled on 8 & 9 February because of the Waitangi Day long weekend plus the Renouf Tennis Centre hosting the Fed Cup from 3-8 Feb.
