Hussey Dropped
- Zephyr Rovers FC
- Zephyr Rovers Acting Manager George Nash sensationally dropped Eddie Hussey (pictured) as finals penalty taker today and installed himself in the event that the final was tied. "I thought Eddie's penalty in the knock out rounds last season was a shocker" said Nash "and I think a calm, cool and collected player like myself should be easily able to toe poke one in from hat range".

RWC: Where to watch the 'breakfast games'?
- The Wellingtonista
- This is a cry for help! Can someone out there leave ideas, suggestions and even actual locations for those people, of a rugby following tendency, that wish to watch the Monday morning pool games. Within the Wellington CBD we mean. The games tend to start around 6am and the Wellingtonista has discovered that most 'rugby-type' venues aren't opening until their normal time of 7am due to licensing restrictions.

Bumper year for records in store
- Swimming Wellington
- If the recent SW Short Course champs is anything to go by, 2007/08 looks set to be a bumper year for local and national records set by Wellington swimmers. 28 local and 4 national records were broken at the meet, beating the 27 local and one national record set in 2005/06. Wellington swimmers are well on track to surpass the 59 SW and 8 SNZ records broken in 05/06 and we still have 7 months to go!

More Mongrel
- Zephyr Rovers FC
- Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall said he noted the defensive frailties of the Phoenix team whilst working our a tactical plan to beat Mercer on Monday. "They really showed me the importance of organisation and that the lack of it could lead to soft goals" said Hall "but I also liked the way Cleberson went over the top of his man at one point and I want to see a bit of this mongrel from George".
