Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui construction: One year to go

- The strengthening and modernising of the central library Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui started in December 2022, by main contractor L.T. McGuinness. Construction is planned for completion by the end of August 2025, followed by the fit-out phase, ahead of the public opening in early 2026. Meet the metalhead makerspace librarian

Capsule uncovered ahead of time
