After 2 cancelled flights she finally got off the ground in Wellington only to be turned back after not being able to land in Tauranga. Plan D was to jump in the car and Super Dad, Glenn, drove through the night to deliver her on the start line just in time. Holly got 3rd in the Mixed Teams - Amazing Result.  Congratulations to all the athletes that competed in this great event.  Thank you to all the parent helpers that organised, booked, shopped, fed, and looked after the team. <!-- --> RACHAEL BURKE - PEER SUPPORT Rachael Burke has recently undertaken training through SLSNZ to take on the role of Peer Supporter within Maranui Surf Life Saving Club. Peer Supporters are specially trained SLSNZ members who can provide confidential support to their fellow members on a range of issues including wellbeing concerns, personal stress, and traumatic lifesaving incidents.  Peer Supporters can also connect Maranui members with the Benestar programme. All current active members and their immediate families have access to FREE counselling and wellbeing support through Benestar.
