Inevitable? Why one Basin flyover will be followed by a second Basin flyover
- Wellington Scoop
- The NZ Transport Agency should come clean on its flyover plans. Our practice believes that one flyover will pave the way for a second. The Agency’s proposed options for mitigation of the flyover, which it has developed in agreement with the Wellington City Council, include a “commitment to consolidate state highway traffic away from Vivian Street and into a single east-west corridor.”

Does the city really need to spend $100m for a heavy metal band?
- Wellington Scoop
- What do you do if you own a waterfront events centre which has been reviled as looking like a Soviet ablution block? What do you do when almost all the reviews criticise its acoustics and sightlines? The last thing you’d do would be to consider making it bigger. Yet this is exactly what the owners of the building are talking about – “expanding the capacity” as “a possibility.”

Island Bay Presbyterian Church
- We are a diverse church, diverse in age, theologies and worship styles. Despite this we have a common vision, a common commitment to support one another, and a common desire to follow in the way of Jesus. Our life together mainly revolves around our 10am Sunday worship service.
