9B Cricket Team Wins Final
- St Patricks College, Silverstream
- Saturday 10 December 2011: A fine season was topped off when the Stream 9B Cricket Team played Wellington College 4, at Wellington College, in the Finals of the Junior 3 Grade. In a close fought match, Silverstream batted first to post a commendable 111/9. Wellington College chased hard but were eventually 110 all out, giving Stream a one run victory.

- Low-income voters want support to get jobs was the key message delivered in the Downtown Community Ministry (DCM) waiting room today. Especially those who need ‘a second chance’ because previous criminal convictions are preventing them getting a look-in to the job market. One respondent was emphatic that “people change and we need another shot at a job”.
