Show and Tell at the May Meeting

We had six speakers and two new guests introduced themselves- they have migrated to Wellington with their SAR search dogs, cats and radio gear from Finland. Previously they had worked for a small Finnish company called Nokia! (My apologies on not having the names or calls yet) read more

Search and Rescue Exercise in the Tararuas

Work on Ngaio Gorge retaining wall begins again
- Ngaio Progressive Association
- Wellington City Council is strengthening a retaining wall along Ngaio Gorge Road. They want to make sure the wall opposite 45-49 Ngaio Gorge Road stays up during earthquakes or big storms. Work on the wall begins on 30 April 2010 and should finish by October.
