Fun and Fabulour Run
- Kilbirnie School
- Kilbirnie School is holding a Fabulous Fun Run on Thursday 26th May at 1pm to encourage kids to be healthy and have fun! This event is co-ordinated with the cross country season so the kids are currently practising their running and keeping fit! Dress up is a HUGE part of this event! There will be awards for best costumes, so if you want to take part as your favourite superhero or book character, get creative and WOW the crowds! There will be ice blocks at the end after the event for the kids to re-hydrate and we encourage any families to come down and support the kids and join in the fun (please wear masks). or pick up a form at the school office. - Two central Wellington buildings have won awards at the NZIA’s national awards ceremony in Auckland, according to the Dompost. Both of them are pretty fantastic, and have won awards before - there’s the new Conservation House by Architecture + (completed only a year or so ago) and then there is Massey House by Cedric Firth and Ernest Plishke, some 50 years before.
