Public Service 11/4/2009
- Brooklyn Northern United AFC
- Brooklyn Northern Public Servants first home game of the season started well - aided by the ferocious wind at Happy Valley, they laid siege to the Karori goal for much of the first half. Unfortunately the football gods were on Karori's side, who despite barely leaving their own half for the first forty-five minutes, took the lead on the stroke of half-time after a mistimed back-pass. International Retirement
- Zephyr Rovers FC
- Zephyr Manager Steve Hall declared his international retirement today after failing to be called up for the New Zealand team to play New Caledonia. "Fortunately I'm still able to consider representative honours as I played today in the Town versus Country at North Wellington club" said Hall "and you'll find my name on the card for the second team on the same day although I never got on the field, in fact I never even put my kit on".

BNU Public Service 9 - {Porirua} City 1
- Brooklyn Northern United AFC
- Woo hoo. An excellent win on the weekend. A comprehensive thrashing of a team that probably should have done better but was beaten down by a Public Service that is starting to come into its own once again. An offence that has now realised 20 goals in its last three games and a defence that has given up only five goals in the ten matches played this season, suggest that this team is only getting better.

Hilton Petone 2013
- Brooklyn Northern United AFC
- Having trained through the off season, and pre-season proper kicking off in early January, the BNU men's first team were keen to trade hurdles, ladders and running shoes for boots, game day and some serious opposition. The 2013 Hilton Petone tournament certainly gave us the opportunity to put our plans into practice. Our group consisted of our neighbours - Island Bay, North Wellington under 19's and our bogey team of last season, Kapiti Coast United.

Upper Hutt Football
- Upper Hutt City Football, as the club is now known, was formed following the amalgamation of three separate football clubs. Club football originated in Upper Hutt with the formation of Upper Hutt United in the 1920s and Tararua United formed as an alternative Club in the 1970s. Upper Valley Wanderers formed in the 1980s as an independent Club for Women’s Football. In the late 1990s the three Clubs amalgamated, with new Clubrooms built at Harcourt Park, as the Tararua Sports Club. A meeting convened in 1998 agreed that all football teams would play as Upper Hutt City Soccer in acknowledgement of the club’s links with and support from the local Upper Hutt City community.
