    • Kids' Film Festival
      • One of the more excellent things we've seen land in the Wellingtonista's intray that allows harried parents to entertain their kids for FREE these holidays, is the Film Festival taking place down at the Film Archive. So if you've got a loved one at home looking after some housebound kiddy-winkles, give 'em a call and tell them to head along...

    • I'd like to lodge a compliment, please
      • I spent two weeks living on the 28th floor of a hotel in Tokyo when I was ten, and ever since then, I have been obsessed with hotels. As you probably know, here at the Wellingtonista, we're also very fond of free food and drink, so when the Travelodge invited us to for Cocktails & Canapes, of course we responded enthusiastically.

    • The Bledisloe Blues @ Kapiti Playhouse
      • After years of trying to work a live performance schedule around All Black Tests and Super Rugby fixtures, guitarist Andrew London has decided to try a different approach, and deliberately offer a ‘rugby free’ alternative for those who are either unmoved by the oval ball’s adventures, or are happy to record the game and come out for some pre-match entertainment.
