Lizzie almost back home
- Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club (Inc)
- Lizzie has arrived! Thanks to many generous donations, she was trucked down from Auckland yesterday and is now on the hard at Evans Bay, stirring up a great deal of interest. Before long, she will be sitting on the slipway at Clyde Quay for her restoration, no more than 20 feet away from where she was built 101 years ago.

The duchess’ nice frock
- The Wellingtonista
- “Oh, look! It’s Kate Winslet’s wedding dress!” On the night of the royal wedding, while most of us were drinking gins and making snarky tweets about Princess Beatrice’s hat (or pointedly not), fashion designer Jane Yeh was hard at work furiously sketching and sewing a replica of Kate Middleton’s wedding dress, ready to go on display at 3pm the next day.

Weekly Club Roundup - Saturday 7th July 2012
- Oriental Rongotai Football Club
- In beautiful conditions at Petone Rec with a masterful display by our smallest player, halfback Sean Hay, The Tracer Construction Premiers put Petone to the sword 55-15. Not much to brag about down through the grades but our Netball girls again did us proud on the court going 3-0 and they put on a great “do” at the clubrooms Saturday night.
