National Women’s Under 19 Championships
- Waikanae Golf Club
- The National Women’s Under 19 Championships was played at the Waikanae Golf Course last weekend. The Club hosted the field of 73 who had come from all over New Zealand and also included 3 participants from Australia. The 54 hole event was played in cool conditions each day, and low scores were a rarity.

- Zephyr Rovers were slow out of the blocks today at the Shed of Dreams and soon found themselves down 3 - 0 to old rivals Solnet. "We started of on half a tank of gas but fortunately picked up momentum to get back in it 5 - 5 at half time" said Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall.

T3 Track Blog
- T3 track or Technical Torture Trail will link the top of Vertigo and the top of Trickle Falls. The track will be two-way and is designed to be grade 5 techical downhill and a grade 5-6 technical uphill. The track will contain between 16 and 18 manmade and natural obstacles along the way. - Plush installation exhibition at Thistle hall by Antoinette Ratcliffe 16 November 2010 – 20 November 2010 Open 11 – 5.30pm Monday to Friday 11-4pm Saturday At last, someone was able to help the slashed up and dying bear, Morris. The bunnies Sugar and Sadie had been unsuccessful with their first aid kit in previous installations, but Duke the zombie Dachshound has transformed Morris into a zombie bear. They keep each other company, but Morris is still having trouble training Duke to be abit more civilized.

Wellington Tenths Trust
- The Wellington Tenths Trust is an Ahu Whenua trust constituted by the Māori Land Court Order of 16 December 2003, pursuant to Sec 244 of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 which varied the original Trust Deed of 1977 and the subsequent variation of Deed made on 17 July 1996. The Trust was established to administer Māori Reserve lands, largely in urban Wellington, although it also administers a rural block in Kaitoke, Upper Hutt. The Trust owns a total of 81 hectares of land.

Wellington Film Society
- The Wellington Film Society (WFS) is a non-profit incorporated society and registered charitable organisation. We have been screening films in Wellington for over 75 years and were one of the founding members of the New Zealand Federation of Film Societies (NZIFF), New Zealand’s only alternative non-profit network of film exhibitors. Film Society membership is open to everyone and there are subscription options from a 3-Film sampler to a 12-month membership.

Wellington City Rural Fire Force
- The Wellington Regional Council formed the WCRFF in 1993. Originally the Force shared residence with the Wellington Free Ambulance at Newtown. The Force moved to its’ own station in Burma Road Johnsonville, in December 1999 and stayed there for 3 ½ years. As the crew numbers increased and the purchase of the tanker the Wellington City Council moved our location to Tawa Depot on the 12th July 2003. Our current station gives us the opportunity to increase our crew numbers to our desired benchmark of 30 as well as housing our entire fleet, which currently consists of 6 vehicles, 4 trailers and a Communication Caravan.
