    • Members and their guests were greeted with a beautiful Wellington spring day for the 127th opening of the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club. Commodore Peter Vause held a brieifng for invited guests on the club's statement of intent for the period 2009 to 2015 while members enjoyed lunch provided by Louise and her wardroom team.

• • Day Three Report: Karl Purdie wins NZ National OK Dinghy Championships

    • By winning the final race of the regatta Karl Purdie cemented his lead and became the NZ OK Dinghy National champion for 2010. Karl sailed a strong regatta and was seldom far from the front of the fleet. Purdie certainly looks to be in good form going into the world championships which start this weekend.
