Camper had name of owner who had departed at 0930 that morning. Overdue was escaleted to Police ops and the PMU and enquires made with CNR for any Trip Report on the app. Intell was that he may have headed to the South. Actial location N/K.       • Operation Details Date/Time:  Wed, 26/02/2020 - 11:30 - 15:30 Operation Type:  SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted:  1 Total Volunteer Hours:  16 A yacht that started it's journey from Tauranga, destined for Marlborough Sounds, left Whanganui yesterday afternoon and then ran into mechanical difficulty 21 NM off shore from Foxton Beach. Coastguard Manawatu went out and towed him towards Kapiti Island, where Coastguard Kapiti took over the tow. Coastguard Mana then went out and took over the tow from from south of Kapiti Island and brought him into Mana Marina where he will be able to arrange repair.       • Operation Details Date/Time:  Wed, 28/12/2011 - 20:30 - Thu, 29/12/2011 - 01:30 Operation Type:  SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted:  3 Total Volunteer Hours:  50 Assisted a Cavilier 45', 18 tonne, yacht with mechanical problems off Mana Island to get to safe mooring. Vessel located and towed to mooring behind Mana Island. Moored off and mechanic taken on board the following morning of 29/12. Engine successfully started. No further support required. Actual time (5 hrs) was split across two days, but is reported as a single block here.       • Operation Details Date/Time:  Tue, 22/10/2013 - 19:30 - 20:30 Operation Type:  CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted:  1 Total Volunteer Hours:  14 Following the successful rescue of a windsurfer that had been in the cold water near Tokaapapa Reef for over an hour, Pelorus and Trust Porirua Rescue were redeployed to assist in searching for and recovering his board. It had been left behind so that he could be transported quickly to awaiting paramedics for checks at Mana Cruising Club. The board was successfully loacated and recovered back to base.       • Operation Details Date/Time:  Sat, 30/03/2013 - 12:25 - 16:30 Operation Type:  SAROP Cat 1 People Assisted:  3 Total Volunteer Hours:  28 Three divers went missing from a group of five during a dive near the south end of Kapiti Island. The dive boat they were with lost track of their bubbles, and they weren't towing a marker buoy, after they were swept away from the dive area via strong currents. They surfaced together later and were swept further away from the area and the boat. Coastguard Mana was dispatched to assist in the search alongside Coastguard Kapiti and Westpac Rescue helicopter.       • Northern United Rugby Football Club Inc was established in 1990 as a result of the amalgamation of the Porirua and Titahi Bay Rugby Football Clubs after their 1989 season. Northern United RFC is known as ‘Norths’ within the Wellington Rugby Football Union. The initial playing strip was the Porirua Rugby Club jersey with the Titahi Bay Rugby Club shorts and socks but in 1990 the official blue and white playing strip was introduced, which remains prominent 30 years on.

    • Wellington City Rural Fire Force
      • The Wellington Regional Council formed the WCRFF in 1993. Originally the Force shared residence with the Wellington Free Ambulance at Newtown. The Force moved to its’ own station in Burma Road Johnsonville, in December 1999 and stayed there for 3 ½ years. As the crew numbers increased and the purchase of the tanker the Wellington City Council moved our location to Tawa Depot on the 12th July 2003. Our current station gives us the opportunity to increase our crew numbers to our desired benchmark of 30 as well as housing our entire fleet, which currently consists of 6 vehicles, 4 trailers and a Communication Caravan.
