Announcing the Wellingtonista Quiz League

- It's oooooooooooooon! We are very happy to present you with a starting date for the Wellingtonista Quiz League - Tuesday July 24. We'd love you to participate. Not only will you get to flex your brain muscles and check out the quiz nights at four different pubs, but you'll also get to network with likeminded people and have a lot of fun.

Friday 13th Zombie Party at Johnsonville
- Wellington City Libraries
- Tonight at the Johnsonville Library there will be a Zombie party (with pizza, not the usual zombie fare) - dress up as a zombie and win prizes! You will also receive 50 bonus SUBTXT points and more if you register a zombified friend. Come along at 6pm and join in the fun - more information here.

Newtown's Teen Idol
- Wellington City Libraries
- There's a Teen Idol competition this Friday at the Newtown Library from 6pm-7.30pm. Food will be provided! If you're already a SUBTXT participant bring along a friend to join, and earn yourself some extra points. All who turn up will also get extra points for just coming along!

Pecha Kucha Dontcha Know
- The first Wellington Pecha Kucha night is being held this Thursday, 5th July at Hope Bros. It is a format for creative talks restricting each speaker to 400 seconds, comprising 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each. Some more info at the esteemable Wikipedia . Audience spaces are limited - by all accounts the Auckland event was a blast - and tickets cost 7 clams.
