Another tasty tit bit
- The Wellingtonista
- Enjoy gallery is hosting the penultimate event in their performance workshopping series tonight. Of course, dear reader, it would be outrageous to suggest that you have no other social engagements lined up for the Saturday of a long weekend, but if you can forgive me once again for the short notice, may I suggest that you nip up to the Enjoy gallery on Cuba St (upstairs near Scopa).

Songs of Hollow Hill
- Texture
- If you are looking for something a little bit different to do this week, then I can highly recommend that you get along to Happy to see Songs of Hollow Hill. Happy is the perfect wintery venue; warm, cozy and intimate and this show is one not to be missed. A combination of deliciously insane gypsy songs and theatre performed by two extremely talented Toi Whakaari grads.

- I've just come back from the 11th heat of the Wellington 48 hours at the Paramount theatre. I've managed to see 5 out of 11 so far so I reckon I am doing pretty well! There are still two more to go, on Tuesday night, and I urge you to go along and check them out, and vote for your favourite.

Human Rights Film Festival 2008
- Texture
- Having spent many years working for the Paramount theatre I have been lucky enough to see an overwhelming number of incredible films, but none have affected me more than the films I have been privileged enough to see courtesy of the Human Rights Film Festival. Their programme continues to get stronger with every year, and this year also celebrates the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
