- Not that it needs any pimping by us, but thought you should know that Wagamama in the Meridian building on the Waterfront is giving away free noodles today from 12 - 2.00pm. We are talking don buri, udon and beef noodle salad here people, well worth waiting in line for if you have the time. Behold the line at 11.30am last year....

Mt Victoria/Mt Cook candidates meetings
- The Mt Victoria Residents Association and Mt Cook Mobilised are convening joint community events for local residents to meet and question the candidates for the upcoming local body elections. This year there will be two meetings, both held at the Crossways Community Centre in Roxburgh Street: Local Lambton Ward candidates meeting on Tuesday 14 September at 7:30pm Mayoral candidates meeting on Thursday 16 September at 7:30pm

Meet the candidates meeting
- Ngaio Progressive Association
- Wellington City Council elections are coming up soon. Ngaio Progressive Association is holding another of our popular ‘Meet the Candidates’ meetings to help you decide who to vote for. We are inviting Mayoral and Onslow/Western ward candidates to speak and answer questions. The meeting will be in the Ngaio School hall at 7:45 pm on Thursday, 9 September.
