Don’t forget the Netball Wellington Fashion Show - 29 Aug
- St Mary's Old Girls Netball Club (SMOG)
- Piri Weepu, Hosea Gear and Corey Jane from the Hurricanes will be joining our netballers Jaimee Sorenson (SMOG), Cushla Lichtwark (Wn East) and Miss New Zealand runner up on the catwalk on Friday 29 August at the TSB Arena. The fashion show is in support of grass-root netball and Wellington region’s high performance program.

- The Film Festival has been a fixture of Wellington's winter calendar for nearly 40 years and for those of us who organise our lives around glowing rectangles of one kind or another there is no better way to spend a cold and wet afternoon than in the comfy leather chairs at the Embassy, engrossed in a work of art. Programming a Festival like Wellington may seem easy but I can assure you it's getting tougher every year.

Netball Wellington Fashion Show
- St Mary's Old Girls Netball Club (SMOG)
- On the 29th of August, Netball Wellington are again putting on their fabulous Fashion Show to raise funds for their High Performance Programme. The show was heralded as equal in quality to the NZ Fashion Show last year and Netball Wellington look forward to at least equalling that this year.

SW Premiership update
- Swimming Wellington
- Porirua Swimming Club has leapt from 3rd place into 1st in the 12 & under competition of the 2008 SW Premiership competition following the Raumati Matariki meet. Previous leader, Mana, is hot on their heals. No points were awarded in the 13 & over competition, leaving Capital in first position. 2008 SW Premiership - placings at 28 June
