BNU v. Waterside Karori
- Brooklyn Northern United AFC
- In a moment of scheduling madness this match was put down for Sunday 14th of May, the afternoon after the best FA Cup Final in living memory. To watch the magnificent footballing mastery that is Liverpool Football Club and the skills of perhaps the best player of our time, Steven Gerrard, and then have to turn up to Nairnville Park to play on a greasy pitch in inclement weather provides a contrast of Grand Canyon-like proportions.

- We all know how bad the weather was on the weekend. I watched a boat slip it's moorings, and mash itself against the rocks, while the owners tried futilely to hoist it out of the water, only to have to give up and let it sink.Still, we all got to play football, and wasn't it great to play in, or watch the game you were involved with?! P2 Men Vs Victoria 09/06/07
- Upper Hutt Hockey Club
- The Upper Hutt P2 mens team which has the largest squad in the past eight years found itself unusually short on Saturday - with only one sub. Still, Playing against Varsity, last years P2 winners, the team fought well. Victoria scored some very good goals (and luck seemed to be on thier side!). Upper hutt lost 5-1 in a game that could have been alot closer with us narrowly missing the goal on at least two occasions. Varstity broke away and scored very quickly on occasions but the general feeling amongst the team was that we dominated posession but unfortunately did not convert it into points. The jubilant celebrations from Varsity every time they scored was a tribute to the quality opposition they were up against. Goal was scored by someone who would like to remain anonymous (modest chap!) Murray

Women's Wrap - 15 May 2017
- Upper Hutt Football
- Round 1 is done and dusted for the W League team, and we’ve gone through unbeaten, and very pleased to be 5 points clear from our closest rivals Wellington Utd & Palmy North Marist. The last two games of the round saw us face a strengthened Wairarapa at home. We knew this wouldn’t be the same team that allowed us to beat them 20-0 in the Kelly Cup, and we were right. Wairarapa came out to compete, and their shape, compactness and tireless efforts meant we were finding them hard to break down.

Skipper's century tips Onslow to victory
- College Sport Wellington
- Daniel Pile has had the Midas touch this month. In the space of nine days, the Onslow College skipper guided his team to three wins and picked up his first century and first five-wicket haul for the first XI. Pile has had to wait for both milestones, as the year 13 student is in his fourth year with the senior team. A five wicket bag had looked a matter of when, rather than if, but the 17-year-old could have got long odds on his chances of scoring a premier one century.

Upper Hutt Football
- Upper Hutt City Football, as the club is now known, was formed following the amalgamation of three separate football clubs. Club football originated in Upper Hutt with the formation of Upper Hutt United in the 1920s and Tararua United formed as an alternative Club in the 1970s. Upper Valley Wanderers formed in the 1980s as an independent Club for Women’s Football. In the late 1990s the three Clubs amalgamated, with new Clubrooms built at Harcourt Park, as the Tararua Sports Club. A meeting convened in 1998 agreed that all football teams would play as Upper Hutt City Soccer in acknowledgement of the club’s links with and support from the local Upper Hutt City community.
