      • Operation Details Date/Time:  Sat, 10/02/2018 - 09:30 - 15:00 Operation Type:  CG Operation (good samaritan) People Assisted:  3 Total Volunteer Hours:  22 A small runabout with 3 POB had headed out to Hunters Bank for a dive/snorkel. The motor stopped and wouldn't restart before they got in the water.  They contacted the national Coastguard Operations Centre who forwarded the details onto us. Mana Rescue 1 headed out and located them drifting near the original location and towed them back to Mana Marina.     • Wellington City Rural Fire Force
      • The Wellington Regional Council formed the WCRFF in 1993. Originally the Force shared residence with the Wellington Free Ambulance at Newtown. The Force moved to its’ own station in Burma Road Johnsonville, in December 1999 and stayed there for 3 ½ years. As the crew numbers increased and the purchase of the tanker the Wellington City Council moved our location to Tawa Depot on the 12th July 2003. Our current station gives us the opportunity to increase our crew numbers to our desired benchmark of 30 as well as housing our entire fleet, which currently consists of 6 vehicles, 4 trailers and a Communication Caravan.
